Hoover introduces new low-frost technology fridge freezers

Leading appliance manufacturer, Hoover, is launching a range of low-frost, low-noise fridge freezers in three different colourways just in time for summer.

Available from June, the brand is adding two new 255-litre capacity fridge freezers to its freestanding refrigeration portfolio, one of which is equipped with a built-in water dispenser.

Both products will be available in black, white or silver, are A+ rated and feature reversible doors, LED lighting, anti-spill glass shelves and four transparent freezer drawers.

Low-frost technology involves the use of hidden cooling circuits in the rear wall of the freezer for an even distribution of cold air, making it quicker and easier to defrost. The new products are also more energy efficient than traditional static technology, with only one manual defrost required per year.

They also have a low noise output of just 40 dBA, making them quieter than a suburban area at night. The fridge freezers also have a 4* freezer rating.

Penny Bellis, product manager at Hoover, said: “Our new low-frost additions are perfect for anyone looking for a fridge freezer that delivers maximum results, with minimum maintenance.

“Consumers are increasingly looking for products that combine style with flexibility and energy-efficiency and we’re pleased to say that our low-frost combis really deliver.”
