CDA has launched a range of seven new built-in dishwashers packed with features specifically aimed at delivering hygienic cleaning.
There are four entry-level models in both 60 and 45cm sizes, two mid-level and one 60cm top of the range. This CDI6371 dishwasher takes 15 place settings and has an A+++/A/A energy rating. It uses just nine litres of water per cycle and has advanced programmes that include Hygiene Pro, Dual Pro Wash, Smart 60-70 degrees wash, Steam Wash and Triple Wash.
“Hygiene is a huge concern for everyone at the moment,” said CDA Consumer Marketing Manager, Carrie Bell, “and our development team has worked hard to introduce features that will offer a super clean wash without wasting water or energy.”
CDA said the Hygiene Wash programme operates at a high temperature and eliminates 99.9 per cent of bacteria, verified by testing from the prestigious German VDE. While with Steam Wash, the heater boots the water temperature at the right moment in the cycle to create steam for around 10 minutes. This softens heavy soiling, resulting in a hygienically clean wash.
Triple Wash is a function where two additional spray arms work together or in conjunction with the main spray arm to deliver really powerful cleaning. Direct Wash is deep multi-directional cleaning where the spray can be directed up to hit the inside of bottles or glasses or down to bigger items.
And the Aquazone spray arms turn separately, using less water at greater pressure for more effective cleaning.
One particularly special feature on these new dishwashers is an InfoLED that beams down on to the kitchen floor with progress information.
Other features include fast Turbo drying, half load, delay timer, antibacterial filter, easy stack cutlery drawer and easy to read white LED control panel lights.
Selected features are used on models further down the range, which includes both 60 and 45cm designs.
