Euronics retailers’ customer service praised by Which?

Euronics members have been given special recognition by Which? Magazine, stating that “customer service sets Euronics apart from its rivals”.

The magazine’s latest Home Products survey, published in the December 2020 issue, canvassed nearly 12,500 adults, members of the Which? Connect panel and members of the public, in an online survey of 28 retailers.

Euronics came in joint second place with a score of 83 per cent behind retail giant, John Lewis. The buying group achieved five-star ratings in five categories, covering product quality, staff knowledge and helpfulness, installation, removal and recycling services, packaging and warranties.

In giving its verdict, Which? Magazine concluded with the view from one shopper who said, “I feel valued as a customer. I’ve bought several appliances from [Euronics] and they always take care of me”.

Chief Executive of CIH, part of Euronics, Stuart Cook said this was “a ringing endorsement” of the Euronics way of doing business.

“This survey confirms how important it is for retailers to give consumers service, support and expertise and how much that is valued.

“To receive independent recognition from such an influential source is a vindication for us, and our members, that Euronics stores are very much part of the fabric of the local community. They have a huge role to play in helping consumers make the best-informed buying decisions they can on home appliances.”

During the current lockdown, 90 per cent of CIH members have remained open, continuing to trade behind closed doors and operating click and collect, kerbside delivery and COVID-Secure product installation, appliance removal and recycling services to customers. CIH is maintaining regular product deliveries to members from its Andover warehouse to keep businesses running.
