Smeg has announced the launch of its all-new Symphony range cookers. Introducing a range of updated features and a new aesthetic, the new models will be available in 110 and 90cm widths. Induction models will also be introduced next month.
The new Symphony, which has been a staple in the Smeg portfolio for over 15 years, offers a versatile aesthetic suited to both those with modern, contemporary kitchens as well traditional and shaker-style spaces as well. Born from Smeg’s previous work with renowned Italian architect, Guido Canali, Symphony’s design includes details such as cast iron pan supports, the new contemporary eclipse black glass doors and new full-length handles and towel rails.
The Symphony packs in a number of must-have functions for serious and aspiring cooks alike. The Circulaire fan function allows you to cook on many different levels, achieve even browning and gets your oven up to temperature in just six minutes. However, the main benefit of Circulaire is that you can cook your starter, main and dessert without worrying about the cross transference of smells and flavours. For when you’re done cooking, the vapour clean function will leave your oven clean and sparkling in up to 20 minutes – no elbow grease required!
In addition, an all-new touch display has been added allowing greater control over your ovens timings and up to six cooking functions, including an ‘Eco’ setting which is perfect for cooking smaller quantities of food.
The all-new 90cm Symphony boasts three oven cavities and five burners. For those after something a little bigger, the new 110cm model comes with four spacious cavities and an impressive seven burners including ultra rapid fuel – ideal for cooking several courses at once and a range of cooking types, particularly foods requiring high intensity heat such as stir frys. Smeg’s Symphony cookers are ‘A’ rated for energy efficiency, an upgrade from the previous ‘B’ rating.
