Philips has unveiled its new flagship OLED TV, which features 4K HDR picture quality, three-sided Ambilight and Android TV functionality.
The 55POS9002 55in OLED TV is powered by the latest M version of the Android smart TV system. It features a unique combination of the new P5 picture processing engine and the three-sided Ambilight system. Together with the pure black levels of OLED, it creates what Philips claims to be a new reference level for TV picture quality.
The sound quality is said to be equally impressive thanks to the inclusion of Philips’s triple ring technology in the subwoofer and DTS HD premium sound compatibility.
The 9002 fits into the company’s ‘visual lightness’ design philosophy, with a thin chassis and tight dimensions and fit of the OLED panel, along with the super-thin bezel. The thinness of these also allows a near seamless connection to the three-side Ambilight technology. Price to be announced.
