Smeg has been inspired by the Italian love of coffee for its first ever standalone coffee machine, the ECF01. Its styling is in keeping with that of its ’50s retro appliances.
The ECF01 espresso machine has been designed to create an authentic cup of coffee with ease. It boasts a slim, form-fitting design with a stainless steel frame, tray cup and brewing head, which offers three different filtering options.
Smeg says that its thermoblock technology enables the coffee machine to quickly switch between coffee and steam functions, as well as reaching the ideal temperature for coffee brewing ‘far quicker’ than its competitors. The descaling system alarm also alerts a user when the machine requires cleaning.
