Set to hit the UK market in spring 2016, Liebherr has unveiled its BluPerformance refrigeration models with energy ratings of A+++ or better.
The BluPerformance’s compressor and condenser have been removed from the back and are now integrated into the base of the appliance, providing more internal capacity.
These models also include a SmartDevice box, which allows integration into smart homes via WLAN, allowing remote control of appliances from smartphones. The SmartDevice box also sends status and alarm notifications from the refrigerator to make changes to appliance settings.
The fridge-freezers have 7in, high-resolution touch-screen displays integrated in the doors. Doors are self-retracting and soft-close and the interior has LED lighting and BioFresh drawers.
