Bosch has introduced its first robotic vacuum cleaner, the Roxxter.
Using the company’s Home Connect app, the vacuum can be controlled from anywhere in the world. The robotic vacuum scans its environment and creates its own map of the entire home, which is displayed in the app.
The RoomSelect function allows the user to select and activate individual rooms on the digital map and also set ‘no-go zones’.
Its laser guidance system is said to make manoeuvring around obstacles easy. It can also manage low steps and door threshold heights of up to 20mm.
The robotic vacuum can also be controlled using Amazon’s voice assistant Alexa and features an integrated camera, allowing users to keep an eye on their home with live streaming to a smartphone or tablet.
