Haier’s mask sanitisation programmes + Hoover’s H-WASH machines

Haier Europe’s special PPE washing cycles are available on Hoover and Candy’s latest smart laundry models – AXI, H-WASH, Smart Pro, Rapid’Ó and Bianca – offering a ‘Mask Sanitisation’ programme (lasting about 110 minutes at 60 degrees) and ‘Mask Refresh’ (45 minutes at 40 degrees).

The two programmes automatically set the right temperature, time and intensity of the wash, as well as indicating the correct dose of detergent to be used and the load capacity.

Results of the two cycles, guaranteed by studies conducted in the Haier Europe laboratories in collaboration with international associations, allow real benefits in terms of safety and waste reduction. The programmes also aim to assist the environment by preventing the disposal of non-reusable PPE, which has a strong impact on waste management and public health.

“But we have not limited ourselves to this; through the digital platforms on which our Smart products rely, i.e. without intervening directly on the product, we have the possibility to innovate and introduce new functions very quickly.”

One of the ranges these functions are available on is Hoover’s new H-WASH models.

The range includes compatibility with Amazon Alexa and Google Home, Wi-Fi and NFC connectivity via the Hoover Wizard app, downloadable cycles and programme recommendations determined by wash loads.

Differentiated by good (300), better (500) and best (700) product propositions, Hoover has initially launched H-WASH 300 and H-WASH 500 models. The 700 will follow. All SKUs offer multiple quick wash options, an economy programme, high temperature hygiene washes and stain level adjustment, altering cycle length depending on the wash intensity required.

The 500 collection (above) includes a 14kg model – that’s more than 70 shirts. It offers a new generation, brushless Eco-Power Inverter Motor and Active Balance, a system that optimises spin cycles, allowing more time for washing with reduced vibration.

The 300 series (left) comes seven to 10kg including NFC or Wi-Fi connectivity, steam functionality, care programmes and a 59-minute All-in-One cycle.
