Gorenje’s AI Chatbot gets an update
Kitchen appliance manufacturer, Gorenje, has launched a new version of its online Chatbot, Anna.
Designed to simplify the online user experience, Anna, helps visitors looking to purchase new appliances, informs about specific Gorenje products, and provides consumers with useful tips and tricks.
In addition to offering optimised guided conversation flow, the most significant new feature is ‘free search’, which offers more life-like conversations. This means users can simply type ‘Can you recommend an oven with pyrolytic cleaning?’ and receive immediate recommendations from the digital shopping assistant.
Whilst the previous version of the Chatbot was only available on Facebook messenger, the updated version is also published on webchat directly on the Gorenje website.

Anna is a ChatBot with advanced functionalities, who learns based on conversations. In addition to hosting communication skills, she is bilingual and excels in face recognition, recognition of emotions, and even has a sense of humour.
Anna is driven by Microsoft’s cognitive solutions and can search for products and their features in Gorenje’s information system PIMS (Product Information Management System).
