Extension of Smeg’s FAB fridge line-up
Launching this month at London Design Festival, the eye-catching curves of the FAB38 will be available in a choice of five colours. This is the first time Smeg has added to its retro line-up in recent years.
Smeg’s retro-inspired, 50s style fridges, which first launched in the 1990s, now offer new, elegant proportions allowing for increased and much-needed refrigerator space, as well as a statement design.
Fitting nicely between the FAB32 and FAB50, the FAB38 is a new size option from Smeg. Available in pastel blue, pastel green, red and white, black and cream, there’s something to suit all tastes.
The FAB38, which measures 70cm, offers both refrigerator and freezer space. From the newly-introduced double side LED lighting, a manual ice maker and multi-cooling technology, no frost technology. Furthermore, the FAB38 provides a high-spec veg box with humidity controller and zero-degree chiller, perfect for keeping foods fresher for longer. In addition, Smeg’s FAB38 offers an A++ energy efficiency rating and for a stylish flourish, internal chrome features on the drawers and draw racks.
The cream and black will be available with both a right and left hand hinge, whilst the remaining colours will be available with just a left hand hinge.
