CDA has unveiled a new collection of ovens and is showcasing a range of other innovations at this year’s kbb show which is currently taking place at the Birmingham NEC, until Wednesday March 4.
Features within the range include new simple to use touch screen controls, sleek aesthetics, side lighting for better cavity illumination, full steam functionality, rapid preheating and up to 77 litre capacity.
The ‘super user-friendly interface’ features clean lines of black glass and crisp white lighting. Users simply touch to choose their heating function on the left, the oven will suggest the most commonly used temperature-which they can adjust. “No scrolling, no complicated menus, just three-touch simplicity!” CDA said.
Within the range is the SL670 steam oven, the SL500 rotary pyrolytic oven, and three replacement models – the SL570 Touch Control pyrolytic oven, the SL400 multifunction oven, and the SL300 multifunction oven. Each of these has a 77 litre capacity, rapid preheating and plenty of other functionality, all at CDA’s competitive price point.
CDA also showcased its EVS90BL 90CM remote control Star ceiling hood, the EVX90SS 90CM ceiling hood, and a selection of wine coolers including CDA’s top selling FWC304SS (pictured left), which has been named as a Which? Best Buy Wine Cooler, coming top of the table.
According to CDA, the Which? test looked at all aspects of performance including temperature stability, humidity level, energy use and ease of operation. “This wine cooler does a brilliant job of getting the bottles inside down to the set temperature” the report said.
The FWC304SS holds 20 bottles on professional style slide out wooden shelves. The temperature is adjustable and the UV glass door protects wine from the effects of light.
“Recognition by Which? is good news for our retailers and for consumers” said Consumer Marketing Manager Carrie Bell. “As the UK market leader in wine coolers we work very hard to ensure our products are the best they can be.”
