Caple showcases Harptree kitchen range at Sussex property

Appliance and kitchen furniture distributor Caple has transformed a kitchen in a property in Sussex using its luxury in-frame Harptree range, showing what retailers could achieve with its products.

According to the company, the homeowners were looking to refresh a tired kitchen area, to make it perfect for relaxing, dining and entertaining, so walls were knocked down between the existing kitchen and breakfast room, and an extension was created to maximise every inch of space, with plenty of steel joists holding the remaining structure in place.

Extra storage was created with the addition of tall units which hide an integrated larder fridge and freezer, as well as providing plenty of space for additional non-chilled food, and even crockery and glasses, behind closed doors.

The island unit houses a Caple induction downdraft, featuring state-of-the-art technology to remove every lingering odour for cooking perfection, while guests gather round the breakfast bar.

Bi-fold doors and a partially glazed roof were added to flood the room with light and a Caple steaming hot water tap and Caple pyrolytic oven and microwave were also specified.

Furniture Manager, Doug Haswell, commented: “Our Harptree kitchen demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and fuses classical features with modern design. It’s one design in a range of luxury, in-frame kitchens in our portfolio where you can choose from a whole host of classic and on-trend painted colours.

“You’ll find this style has a variety of standout features. The cabinets are bespoke in size and the lacquered oak drawer boxes feature the classic dovetail design. The doors are 75mm ash-framed surrounded by a solid ash beaded frame with feature extended bottom rail. This kitchen also comes with soft-close hinges for smooth opening and curved doors are available.”
