Ample room with Caple’s new French door fridge-freezer

Caple’s new CAFF42 fridge-freezer has been designed for those who want ample storage for chilled and frozen produce and enjoy cooking up a feast for the family and love entertaining at home.

As well as offering style cues with stainless-steel doors and metal handles for a more sophisticated finish, this new model embraces energy-saving features, as Product Manager, Luke Shipways, explained: “One of this model’s highlights is an innovative compartment mode, which you can operate to switch off an entire section of the refrigerator you may not be using.

“The CAFF42 has also been designed with an economy mode, which provides the cooler compartment with an optimum temperature while saving power. You can operate a holiday function, if the cooler compartment will not be used for a long period of time.

“There’s also a handy screensaver function, which saves energy by switching off the smart LED touch-control display panel lights. The intelligent night sensor is another energy-saving function, which switches off lighting in the refrigerator if there’s sufficient illumination in the room.”

Other features include an option to store bottled drinks in the freezer compartment to cool them quickly, with an alarm which reminds you to remove them after a period of time. Super-cool and super-freeze automatically speed up cooling and freezing times and the freezer is frost-free.

The CAFF42 is fitted with telescopic rails and soft-close runners in the chill drawer to enable easy and quiet operation, and this removes the risk of the drawer not closing fully. The internal LED light has been designed to turn on gradually, which creates a more pleasing aesthetic.
