Sony claims its MDR-1000X premium headphones offer the most responsive noise-cancelling technology on the market.
The MDR-1000X allows the user to tailor their listening experience and noise cancelling by using the personal NC optimiser function. It also showcases a ‘Quick Attention’ mode that allows the user to place the palm of their hand to the outside of the headphone ear cup to have a conversation with someone, without taking the headset off.
The Ambient Sound function also allows the wearer to be aware of traffic on a busy street or train announcements at a station.
It also features a 40mm HD driver with an aluminium-coated Liquid Crystal Polymer diaphragm that is said to enhance dynamic range and minimise distortion.
The MDR-1000X phones are available this month with a price of £330.
