UK Custom Install Show to still take place in October
The UK Custom Install Show (UKCI20) is still scheduled to take place on 21-22 October 2020 at Alexandra Palace, London. Organisers, Chester Group, have said that “only a government directive, venue availability or collective industry reaction would prompt it to be rescheduled”.
“All orders for space, stand positions and other specifications that have been received and/or are being processed will be secure regardless of any changes,” the Group said.
The exhibition will showcase the latest developments in custom installation technologies, as well as solutions from leading brands and distributors in the smart home, home cinema, security and lighting sectors.
UKCI20 promises to offer custom integrators and technology professionals a unique opportunity to get hands-on with new products, and experience first-hand demonstrations of the latest in automation, video and audio products.
ERT’s involvement is seen as key to this new show, owing to its long-standing reputation and connection to the industry. In today’s tough trading environment, electrical retailers are increasingly taking on installation as part of their remit in order to diversify and appeal to new customers. Through all its media partnership connections, UKCI20 looks to attract a quality and diverse audience through its doors.
The UK Custom Install Show will represent all factions of interconnected technology for the home, which is why specific zones have been set aside to ensure each area is properly represented.
One manufacturer said “this show can attract new footfall from home designers, architects, specifiers, creative installers etc. hopefully sustained over a couple of productive days,” adding: “Combined with some exclusive keynote speakers and a dedicated evening for business networking and information sharing it will be just what the industry has been waiting for.”
The Chester Group said “this will continue to be our primary objective”.
“As support grows we will extend an invitation to all exhibitors to attend regular planned meetings at the venue to ensure maximum support and focus on that primary objective.”
