Both the public and the electrical retail industry can get involved and there are some incredible nominees this year, including programmes like Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, The Graham Norton Show and Gogglebox in the ‘Entertainment’ category; Love Island, I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of here! and Strictly Come Dancing in the ‘Reality TV’ category; plus Scott Mills, Steve Wright and Chris Evans in the ‘Radio Personality’ category.

TRIC (The Television and Radio Industries Club) is a not-for-profit organisation that helps raise money for charity and promotes goodwill across the industry. Each year the Club selects two charities to support; for 2022 it’s the Alzheimer’s Society and Save the Children.

There’s only a few days left to make your voice heard, and every vote counts to help make this year’s Awards the biggest celebration ever and to bring people together to raise money for these good causes.

The TRIC Awards ceremony will return in full splendour at Grosvenor House on Park Lane in London on Wednesday 6 July, with hordes of famous faces turning out from the world of TV and radio.

Newly-appointed TRIC President, Alex Jones, will host the event and it will also be streamed online across the ScreenHits TV platform.

Rose Hulse, CEO and Founder of ScreenHits TV, who has recently joined the TRIC Committee, said: “We couldn’t be more thrilled to be able to live stream the TRIC Awards for the second year in a row and bring the event to millions worldwide. This year we will be incorporating fashion on the red carpet, pre-Awards interviews and the entire Awards show, celebrating the very best in British broadcasting.”
