The last 12 months has seen a huge rise in TV and radio consumption across the UK, and now it’s your chance to give back to the industry that’s entertained us. If you’ve been glued to reality TV or binged the latest dramas, then make sure you don’t miss out on the opportunity to vote for your favourite shows.
The TRIC Awards is also partnering with ERT to offer readers the chance to win a pair of tickets to attend this Summer’s exclusive Awards ceremony (dependent on Government guidance), hosted by TRIC President and TV personality, John Barrowman, in London later this year. More news on the date will come next week!
Jane Ostler, TRIC Chair, said: “This Summer we are also streaming the event, so everyone gets an opportunity to join us even if they can’t be there in person. The TRIC Awards will be different this year, but we look forward to providing ERT readers, our supporters and the public with an amazing event.”
So for your chance to celebrate with our nation’s favourite celebrities, CLICK HERE to vote now. And you could have the chance of seeing this year’s winners up close and personal!
Jack Cheeseman, Editor of ERT, commented: “We are very excited to once again be partnering with TRIC, especially as I think now we all need events like this to lift our spirits!
“We all have our favourite TV and radio shows that we enjoy watching or listening to and this is the perfect opportunity to reward all the hard-working people involved in these productions, so I urge everyone to get voting! And I’m looking forward to seeing the winners revealed in the Summer.”
The Television and Radio Industries Club (TRIC) was formed in 1931. It was established in the early days of broadcasting as the ‘Radio Industries Club’. Its aim is to promote mutual understanding, goodwill and networking amongst those engaged in the technology and related industries, by holding high-profile events and raising money for good causes.
This year, TRIC’s chosen charities are Combat Stress and akt – both have seen a huge surge in mental health issues and young people sleeping rough on the streets.
The Club’s continued success and growing reputation for unrivalled corporate entertaining provides a tremendous springboard to industry networking and collaboration following a dismal year of lockdown restrictions.
