A new business consultancy company has been launched covering press, PR, marketing and sales for the global professional audio visual, consumer electronics and IT sectors.
Re-Sauce has been founded by Gordon Dutch (former shareholder/Exec Vice President and Managing Director of Peerless-AV), Lee Baker (former Midwich Group Commercial Director) and Ian Sempers (former Owner of Medium UK).
These three well known industry figures have joined forces with Mr Dutch –pictured above left – taking on the role of CEO within the new business, Mr Baker – pictured above right – becoming Chairman and Mr Sempers – pictured above middle – a Non-Executive Director and Financial Director.
Mr Dutch explained the reasons behind forming this business: “Over the past year, our industry and the world has changed almost beyond recognition. The shows we all attended for years have either been cancelled or delayed. Meetings and networking events have currently all been replaced by some form of virtual launch, Zoom or Teams call and all AV, CE and IT businesses have had to review their business models, from fixed costs through to how they market and sell.
“This new business – Re-Sauce – will have a solid focus on business consultancy, ‘digital’ marketing services, as well as the more traditional forms of press and PR.”
Mr Baker and Mr Sempers added: “When Gordon approached us both about becoming involved in Re-Sauce, we were really excited by the proposition. Between us, we have a huge amount of contacts, business experience in building, running, selling and floating businesses globally. We all enjoyed a fantastic relationship when Gordon ran Peerless-AV and so we are really looking forward to working together again.”
It was only in January this year that Mr Dutch announced he was leaving Peerless-AV to establish a new, similar consultancy business – called BBG Business Development.
Mr Dutch, who has been active within the AV industry for over 30 years, has a long history of success both in the retail and B2B/pro markets, creating award-winning brands that have proven the test of time and winning two lifetime achievement awards himself in the process.
