Storeplan enters voluntary liquidation

Shopfitting specialist Storeplan Limited has placed itself into creditors’ voluntary liquidation.

A creditors’ meeting will be held on July 13 at 10.15am at 1200 Century Way, Thorpe Park Business Park, Leeds. This is being organised by Gaines Robson insolvency practitioners in Leeds, and on that date David Robson will officially be appointed as liquidator.

Managing director of Storeplan, Justin Eaton, told ERT: “I took this decision because I was fed up of chasing retailers for outstanding payments. I really enjoyed the design side of the business, but it all reached the point, with some bills unpaid from December last year, where I had just had enough.”

Looking to the future, Mr Eaton confirmed that he is now working with XKX Projects in Bradford, an events company that was a silent manufacturing partner for Storeplan. He revealed that XKX will take over Storeplan’s current and future contracts.

Storeplan was originally founded in 2012 by MD Justin Eaton. It has fitted out many independent retailers and Panasonic Stores all over the country.
