The third European TCG (Technical Consumer Goods) Retail Summit will take place in Amsterdam, Holland, on April 20-21 next year.
Described as “a think tank for the electrical retailing industry”, the theme of the event will be: “Buy with one click – what’s the point of stores exactly?”
It will look at topics including same-day delivery, showrooming and how retailers and brands can keep up with the growing demands of today’s shoppers.
Senior executives from more than 20 European countries are expected to participate and will discuss retail trends and how these will affect their businesses now and in the future.
Guest speakers and panellists will include Thomas Baader, executive vice-president of BSH; Cyril Buxtorf, Groupe SEB’s executive vice-president, EMEA; Hans Carpels (pictured), president of Euronics International; Turan Erdogan, chief executive of Vestel; Rick Londema, senior vice-president of consumer sales, Sony Europe, and Jonas Samuelson, Electrolux’s head of major appliances, EMEA.
The summit will be held at the Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky, in the heart of Amsterdam, adjacent to the Royal Palace.
