At Samsung’s conference at IFA this week, the company launched a whole host of new products for the consumer’s home.
First up, Samsung’s BESPOKE line-up is a new category of refrigerators (pictured above) that allows users to set up their kitchen in a customised style, to suit modern kitchen trends. They are designed to be either freestanding or recess fit, meaning they can have cabinetry fitted around the fridge, offering the ability to seamlessly maintain the built-in look which is a whole new category option in the market.
The new BESPOKE refrigerator line-up incorporates a modular design and offers three different types, ranging from one-door tall fridges and freezers to classic style refrigerators. With the ability to configure BESPOKE in many ways, consumers can enjoy the flexibility of tailoring their fridge to their lifestyle and design needs.
Consumers can also create kitchen space that is uniquely their own. For the front panel, consumers can choose from three different materials – cotta metal, satin glass, and glam glass – and multiple colour options.
Staying in the kitchen, Samsung is also preparing a new premium built-in kitchen line-up for Europe in 2020 that includes an oven, hood integrated induction, dishwasher and refrigerator.
The first product in the line-up, unveiled at IFA, is the Dual Cook Steam oven. It boasts a modern design that provides outstanding flexibility with multi-cooking abilities. The oven is aligned vertically and incorporates textured surfaces with a new user interface that adds a new level of design intrigue. And with its Dual Cook Steam feature, it can simultaneously cook with convection in one compartment and with steam in the other.
This new premium line-up of built-in appliances are available in Satin Glass material.

Elsewhere, the POWERstick Jet from Samsung targets consumer demand for suction power from their cordless vacuum cleaners to match that of corded units. POWERstick Jet uses Samsung’s Digital Inverter Motor and Jet Cyclone System to generate up to 200W of suction power. This results in stronger cleaning and offers consumers maximised convenience.
Samsung has also developed the five-layer HEPA filtration system for the POWERstick Jet. The impressive filter captures 99.999 per cent of dust particles and allergens, keeping them from escaping back into the air through the vacuum exhaust.
In the first stage of the filtration process, the main cyclone separates large dust particles, which are then trapped in another metal mesh grille filter. The Jet Cyclone serves as a second cyclone and works together with a washable micro filter to capture finer dust particles. And finally, an ultra-fine dust filter captures 0.3~10µm-sized dust particles. All parts and filters are washable, so the unit can be maintained hygienically.
POWERstick Jet comes with a removable high-capacity battery, meaning you can replace it with a spare to clean for twice as long.
Finally, consumers can now conveniently freshen up their outfit at home with Samsung’s AirDresser.
This product freshens clothes with its Jet Air system and Air Hangers, using powerful jets of air to loosen and remove engrained dust, even from deep within the fabric. The Jet Steam feature sanitises garments gently to get rid of bacteria while Heatpump Drying also provides delicate care for clothes by drying them at a low temperature to reduce shrinkage and heat damage. AirDresser also features a Deodorising Filter to capture and remove odours while preventing them from building up inside the unit. It even has a Dust Filter that keeps the inside of the compartment clean by capturing the dust left floating in the air.
Available in a Crystal Mirror colour, AirDresser blends advanced technologies with unique styling, doubling as a state-of-the-art wardrobe that fits in beautifully with contemporary living spaces.
