Panasonic UK and Ireland managing director Andrew Denham has left the business.
A statement issued by the company said: “With effect from Friday April 28, Andrew Denham, managing director for consumer business UK and Ireland will leave Panasonic.
“We would like to place on record our appreciation and thanks for the great contribution he has made over 23 years with Panasonic. We wish Andrew every success for the future.”
Panasonic said it was in the process of reviewing replacement options for the role and that it would make an announcement when it had decided on a permanent appointment.
In the interim, marketing director David Preece has been appointed as acting managing director for consumer business in the UK and Ireland.
