Panasonic appoints general manager for independents

Panasonic UK has appointed Graham Goldsmith as general manager of independent sales with immediate effect.

He will work alongside the Panasonic sales leadership team and will look after all UK independents and Panasonic Stores.

Mr Goldsmith will be responsible for defining and implementing sales strategy across all of Panasonic’s product categories from TV and audio to small domestic appliances.

He joins Panasonic after seven years at Groupe SEB, parent company of Tefal, Krups and Rowenta, where he worked in a variety of roles, most recently channel controller for the UK and Ireland, overseeing department stores and distribution. Before that he spent five years as a business account manager at Sony.

Mr Goldsmith said that he is looking forward to working with the independent channel and creating cohesive partnerships for Panasonic moving forward.
