Appliance giant BSH has claimed its order backlog troubles have been resolved and reported a hugely successful appearance at kbb Birmingham.
The German manufacturer – owner of the Bosch, Siemens and Neff brands – has come under fire from retailers in recent months after stock shortages on its new built-in oven ranges left many stores unable to confirm new kitchen orders and completion dates.
However, speaking to ERT’s sister magazine kbbreview at kbb Birmingham, Simon Jones, director, BSH Kitchen Division, said: “It has been exciting to be back at the kbb Show in Birmingham this year, particularly because it is has given us the opportunity to talk with so many of our customers face to face, and confirm that our oven supply situation is back to normal.
“Our stand has been heaving from the opening bell to the final whistle, and we’ve had an amazing response to our products, especially the new range of Home Connect wi-fi-enabled products.
“We’ve run 18 cookery demonstrations every day, bringing to life how our Home Connect appliances offer real benefits right now, and not just in the future.
“We’d just like to thank all our customers for taking the time to visit us and helping to make the show such a resounding success.”
