Novy awarded Quiet Mark for 58 extraction appliances

Luxury Belgian extraction and induction specialist, Novy, has been awarded Quiet Mark certification for 58 extraction appliances in a 60-model collection.

This includes the Novy Panorama and Up ranges of vented downdraft induction hobs; the first extraction hobs to be listed on the Quiet Mark website. Novy also becomes the brand with the most Quiet Mark accredited cooker hoods to date.

Owain Harrison, Country Manager at Novy, commented: “Being awarded Quiet Mark certification for so many appliances in our extraction collection is a true endorsement of Novy’s unrivalled position of making some of the quietest cooker hoods and extractors in the sector.

“The Quiet Mark logo will be featured on all our display products in kitchen studios and premium electrical independents, making it a fantastic talking point for our retail partners.

“In addition, having so many products listed on the Quiet Mark website will deliver greater confidence for consumers who can rest assured that they are purchasing the quietest extraction appliances available because they are endorsed by a trusted independent source.”

Poppy Szkiler, Founder and CEO of Quiet Mark, added: “Novy’s shared passion and achievement in pioneering lowest sound levels across so many technologies whilst delivering core performance is a leadership example in understanding how to truly care for their customers.”

Since 1965, Novy’s mission has been to design and manufacture the quietest yet most powerful extraction products available. Having invented and patented perimeter extraction and developed the first silencers in cooker hoods, the company currently works in partnership with acoustic specialists at Flanders University, Belgium to continually improve noise levels and the tonal pitch of each of the appliances to make them suitable in the home.
