MPL Home launches Sensiohome exclusively for indies

UK small appliance company MPL Home has teamed up exclusively with electrical and housewares distributor Jegs to launch a new brand solely for independent retailers.

Called Sensiohome, the brand will offer a range of affordable small kitchen appliances, aimed at those consumers who want to refresh their kitchen, but are keen to avoid paying ‘designer’ product prices.

Available from this month, the Silhouettes range will comprise a stainless steel 1.7 litre kettle with gold accents (£39.99) and a matching two-slice toaster (£29.99); three slow cookers (1.5 litre £14.99; 3.5 litre £24.99 and 5.5 litre £39.99) with a stainless steel finish and gold accents; a 700W stainless steel rice cooker and steamer with gold accents (£29.99); and a 28 litre mirrored convection mini oven and rotisserie (£99.99).

More products will also be introduced under the Sensiohome range, including heating appliances.

Said Paul Martin, group sales director for MPL Home: “We are keen to offer independent retailers an exciting range of products that will appeal to new and existing customers.

“With that in mind, we wanted to establish a strong link with a renowned electrical distributor and are confident that Jegs, with its excellent reputation, will help create a successful working partnership that benefits independent retailers.”

Added Jegs managing director Eloise Gibbons: “We are delighted to be working with MPL Home to exclusively launch Sensiohome products. We believe that the company’s wide-ranging, innovative product offering, together with its extensive experience in the electrical industry, will prove to be a real winner with independent retailers.”
