German TV manufacturer Loewe has firmed up its commitment to the smart home space by introducing the first KNX module for its TV sets.
KNX is a standardised OSI-based network communications protocol for building automation systems, and Loewe has partnered with German technology firm ISE to introduce the module to its TVs.
The ISE KNX module enables seamless integration with a KNX-based install, which gives consumers the opportunity to integrate the TV within a smart-home environment.
The technology will be previewed at the Light and Build show in Frankfurt from March 18-23.
