Liebherr is launching an appliance self-design concept – called MyStyle – aimed at giving both its retail customers and end consumers the freedom to not only choose the materials that their refrigerator is made from and interior layout, but to also style the exterior and uniquely brand it around a certain business or theme.
Thinking hard about the process of customisation, the German manufacturer has developed an intuitive online configurator so customers can choose their favourite colour from a rich colour palette, put lettering and patterns on the appliance, and even use their own favourite photographic images to shout out about their brand and business.
“As we continually see changes in preferences in interior design, fashion and culture we felt the time was right to give customers the power to express their brand and creativity through their refrigerator,” said Tim Hutchinson, Divisional Manager, Liebherr GB.
“MyStyle can literally make your appliance the focal point of a business, drawing the attention of passers-by in the street and your customers who come into your premises. If you want subtle colour, personal messaging or a huge wow factor the MyStyle concept is for you.”
Knowing that sometimes we all like to be a bit different, and perhaps prefer things in a certain way, Liebherr’s MyStyle also creates possibilities to change the interior design of each appliance. You can choose different shelving, accessories, lighting solutions and even have a glass door on selected refrigerators.
If you have got a brand identity, photograph, or colour combination this can be encapsulated in a ‘skin’ design that can be put onto the appliances in just a few steps. Every German manufactured appliance configured in this way is unique and produced according to each customer’s individual requirements.
