Leadership changes at Tric

The Television Radio Industries Club (Tric) has announced new appointments to its leadership team.

Richard Lindsay-Davies, (pictured left) chief executive of the Digital TV Group (DTG), is now the chairman of Tric – he succeeds Mike Finchen, (pictured right) director of digital terrestrial television at Arqiva, who has stepped down to the role of vice-chairman.

TV and radio presenter Lisa Snowdon will be the new celebrity president, while sales and marketing consultant Alexia Sciplino has been appointed as a director. Ms Sciplino will help drive the growth and development of Tric and the new team will focus on increasing Tric’s goodwill contribution to the industry by holding more high-profile events, targeting new audiences and increasing the exposure of the Tric brand.

The changes to the Tric leadership were announced at the recent Tric annual general meeting, which was held at the Grosvenor Hotel, London. ERT editor Sean Hannam has also joined Tric as a member of its committee.

Said Mr Lindsay-Davies: “It’s an exciting time for Tric, with a new team in place. Following our most successful awards back in March, we are keen to continue building on this momentum and I look forward to working with Lisa and our new team to put Tric firmly on our industry’s charity map.”

Tric will be hosting its annual Christmas Luncheon on Tuesday, December 12, and the Tric Awards will be held on Tuesday, March 13, 2018.
