Young patients at the James Paget University Hospital in Gorleston are having their stay made a little more bearable thanks to a local company.
Hughes Electrical has donated four, LG 32-inch Smart TVs which have been installed in the Children’s Ward to help during the COVID-19 outbreak.
Said Senior Sister Hannah Willis, “As young patients are now isolated in cubicles on our Children’s Ward, they cannot currently access the playroom, or the rest of the ward.
“These TVs will be a great distraction for children and their parents and we are extremely grateful for Hughes generosity.”
Added Robert Hughes, Hughes Chairman; “Hannah, her colleagues and indeed the whole of the NHS are doing such an amazing job at the moment so when we heard they were looking for some TVs we were only too pleased to help.
“It is really rewarding to know they are being put to such good use to help younger people and their parents during these challenging times.”
