Hoover is new broadcast sponsor of This Morning in Ireland?

Domestic appliance manufacturer, Hoover, has signed a deal to be the broadcast sponsor of This Morning on Virgin Media One as part of its ‘Hoover, that’s who’ campaign.

Commencing as of yesterday, 1 April 2019, the creative will feature the brand’s AXI washing machine, H-Free cordless stick vacuum cleaner and built-in oven from its Vogue collection.

The creative aims to reaffirm the brand’s position as a manufacturer and demonstrate how the brand provides bespoke solutions to customer needs; something it has championed since its inception in 1908.

This is Hoover’s second significant investment in the Irish market in as many years, reflecting its importance to the manufacturer.

Antony Peart, director of brand and communications at Hoover Candy Group, said: “We’ve invested considerably in TV advertising, with a particular focus on the Irish market, to get our newest products in front of the consumer and reinforce our position as a manufacturer of innovative and stylish domestic appliances.

“The ‘Hoover, that’s who’ campaign has been a big success for us as a brand and, in addition to demonstrating the breadth of our product portfolio, it has helped to reinforce how integral home appliances are to everyday life.”

Investment in the broadcast sponsorship of This Morning follows several placements with the Good Food Channel, James Martin’s Saturday Morning and last year’s launch of Hoover’s first major advertising campaign since 2015.

Mr Peart continued: “The investment demonstrates just how serious we are about advocating our innovative nature and how this translates into each and every product category, whether this be showcasing our newest cooking or floorcare appliances or indeed the very latest AI technology utilised in our laundry products.”

The show airs live on Virgin Media One weekdays from 10.30am until 12.30pm, presented by household favourites, Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, from Monday to Thursday and broadcasting stalwarts, Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford, on Fridays.
