Haier ‘connects to the extraordinary’ with new TV campaign

Haier UK has launched a new TV campaign called ‘Connected to the Extraordinary’ – which is part of a broader campaign that sees the brand advertising 365 days a year.

The strategy from Haier UK includes “always on” digital, lifestyle, social and influencer activity alongside a new TV campaign featuring premium products from its cooling, cooking and laundry ranges, across Sky and Channel 4 networks.

The campaign is part of the brand’s vision to create an intelligent home revolution. The products featured are the French Door 70 refrigerators, which offer Haier’s Fresher Tech cooling technologies, the I-Pro Series 5 A-rated washing machine, which is powered by the Direct Motion motor, that ensures superior reliability and extra-silent operation.

Also featured is the newly launched Cooking Series 6 range of ovens, with smart user interfaces and minimalist premium design. All are connected by Haier’s hOn app, for a connected, tailor-made experience in the user’s kitchen. The advert also features voice over by professional chef and restaurateur, Nisha Katona, Haier’s recently appointed Brand Ambassador.

Antony Peart, Director of Brand and Communications, said of the new campaign: “This launch is another clear strategic commitment to the brand as we continue to develop Haier in the UK. It gives us a huge platform across TV networks to tell our Connected Home message and for achieving our vision to be the First Consumer Choice for the Smart Home.”

Haier UK and Ireland’s Chief Commercial Officer, Jim McEwan, recently featured in ERT magazine talking about the company’s plans to lead the smart appliances sector into a new era.
