Philips has become the latest TV brand to add Freeview Play to its offering.
The service will be available on the new 6162 and 6262 range of Philips smart TVs in the UK.
Freeview Play is a subscription-free service that combines catch-up, on-demand services, as well as live TV in one place.
The addition of the Freeview Play service will allow TP Vision – which is the licensee for the design, manufacture and marketing of Philips TVs – to offer the full range of catch-up services on its new ranges of smart TVs.
