Exertis, a leading distributor of technology products for the B2B, enterprise, mobile and retail markets today announced the promotion of Jo Lawrence to UK HR Director, reporting to Paul Bryan, Exertis UK&I, Managing Director. She takes up the position previously held by Nick Foster who took on the additional responsibility as HR Director for Exertis International earlier last year.
“Jo has made a significant impact since joining Exertis as Head of HR for our UK business and deserves her promotion to the Board. It illustrates the depth of talent that we have in the company in filling this key position from within, allowing Nick to focus on his new role in our expanding International business and driving the divisions’ talent agenda. Jo has some great ideas and I am looking forward to working with her more closely and at the same time thanking Nick for his significant contribution to the UKI team and wishing him all the best for the future”, said Bryan.
Lawrence joined Exertis in November 2019 from Life Insurance Mutual LV, where she spent two years as Head of HR for talent, learning and resourcing. Prior to that she spent more than fifteen years at the Kingfisher Group in senior HR positions within the PLC and its DIY and home improvement retailer, B&Q.
