Exclusively Brand Showcase grows

The Brand Showcase at Exclusively Shows offers a unique opportunity to present key products to leading consumer journalists, influencers and bloggers. It takes place in the show’s media centre, housed above Exclusively Electrical.

Now in its third year, the Brand Showcase is forecast to have over three times the number of consumer and trade press attend compared to 2018, with a consumer reach of well over five million from its Influencer attendees alone. Over 300 members of the media have now registered to visit from titles such as Buzzfeed, The Sunday Times, plus leading influencers including ‘This Girl Can Organise’ as well as lifestyle producers at ITV’s This Morning.

The Brand Showcase is headed up by Richard Watts, and he added: “We are delighted with the enthusiasm by journalists and influencers to attend the brand showcase. We have reached out to a wide audience over the last few months, inviting more relevant influencers, consumer and broadcast media than ever before. l am overwhelmed by the level of acceptance and enthusiasm for the event, it is incredibly exciting both for us at Exclusively Shows and the industry as a whole.’’

The Brand Showcase is fundamentally an edit of the main show itself. Journalists are invited to see event highlights in one space quickly and effectively – without having to take too much time out of their day. It is proving to be a successful formula. Enthused by what they see, the press go on to search out exhibitors in the main hall.

In terms of the number of exhibitors attending the Show, bookings have increased by over 50 per cent. This year’s exhibitors include:

Addis, AEG, AirCraft Vacuums, Amefa, Auteur, Barista, Black + Blum, Blue Canyon, Burton McCall, Denby, Doulton Water Filters, Dualit, Eddingtons, Evo Lifestyle, FKA Brands, Forma House,  Haus Marketing and Distribution, Kuhn Rikon Smidge, Huski Home, Ladelle, LSA , Kuhn Rikon, Melitta, Meyer, Millo, Mistral Brands, Oxo, Ritterwerk, Robert Welsh, Royal Doulton, Scott Gear, Simplehuman, Sistema, SMA Worldwide, Smartwares, Smidge, T&G Woodware, Tatay, The DRH Collection, UK Thermos Ltd, Tradestock and Tramontina.

2018 saw an amazing 100 press attend the showcase. This year the attendance is looking to triple. From broadcast media, there’s interest to attend from ITV This Morning, Loose Women and C4 Sunday Brunch.

National consumer titles confirming attendance include: The London Evening Standard, Sainsbury’s Magazine, The Sun on Sunday, I weekend, Ideal Home, Woman and Home, Good Food, Hello and The Daily Mail.

In addition, with a potential audience reach of over five million people, influencers have become significant in their role of promoting products to consumers. A few notable names include: Queen of Clean, Lean Student Chef, Little House in London, Popcorn & Pyjamas, Little Miss Mops, Jottie’s Journal and Bustle.com.

Will Jones, Chairman of Exclusively Shows and Bheta’s Chief Operating Officer, commented: “The Brand Showcase offers exhibitors an excellent opportunity to position their products in front of press, influencers and bloggers. The end result is that the message very quickly finds it way directly to the key target audience i.e. the consumer via social media channels and print.”

Mr Watts added: “We can attribute the growth of the Showcase to its growing reputation within the lifestyle media sector, the unique format we offer and the incredible list of quality exhibitors signing up to be a part of the event, which is now considered the UK’s premier press showcase of housewares, table-top and small domestic appliance brands.”
