ERT has been shortlisted for a top publishing award for the third year running.
The magazine is nominated in the ‘Front Cover of the Year (Business)’ category in the PPA Independent Publisher Awards 2017.
The awards are organised by the Professional Publishers Association (PPA), the trade body for the magazine publishing industry in the UK.
The cover that has been shortlisted is from the March 2017 Turning Point special issue of ERT (pictured), which launched the magazine’s campaign to revitalise the electrical retailing industry.
The winner will be announced at a ceremony at the Hilton Bankside in London on November 28.
In 2015, ERT won the trophy for its front cover of Julian Richer, the managing director and founder of Richer Sounds.
Last year, it was shortlisted by the judging panel for its February cover – ‘The Burning Issue’, which highlighted an in-depth analysis on electrical safety.
Said ERT editor Sean Hannam: “It’s great to be nominated for such a prestigious award for the third year running.
“Our Turning Point campaign, which launched earlier this year, is key to ERT’s strategy and has been well supported by the industry.
“To win this award would be a great recognition of all our hard work and a fitting end to 2017.”
