ERT up for second PPA award

ERT has been shortlisted for a top publishing award for the second year running.

The magazine is a finalist in the ‘Front Cover of the Year – Business’ category in the Independent Publisher Awards 2016.

Last year, it won the trophy for its front cover of Julian Richer, the managing director and founder of Richer Sounds.

ERT’s April 2016 cover – ‘The Burning Issue’, which highlighted an in-depth analysis on electrical safety, has been shortlisted by the judging panel and the winner will be announced at a ceremony in London on December 8.

The awards are organised by the Professional Publishers Association (PPA), the trade body for the magazine publishing industry in the UK.

Said ERT editor Sean Hannam: “It’s great to be nominated again for such a prestigious award and is testament to all the hard work we’ve put into ERT since we relaunched the magazine with a new design in April 2015. I hope we can do the double and come away with another award this year.”
