Electrical retailers do well in ‘digital’ top 50

Once again big name electrical retailers have made it into the IMRG comScore Top 50 Retailer Ranking.

Argos climbed one place this year to second position, while John Lewis moved up two places to 10th.

However, Currys dropped one place to 16 and PC World fell five places to 44.

Amazon UK again claimed the top spot.

IMRG’s report measures the digital audience levels of retailers across different sectors. The data is based on the total unique visitors/viewers on both desktop and mobile devices in June.

Smartphone and tablet rankings are recorded separately. Argos performed well on both platforms, securing third and fourth place respectively.

John Lewis (9th) and Currys (19th) both performed better on tablets than on smartphones (18th and 21st).

PC World performed well on tablets in 21st place, while Carphone Warehouse came in 40th place on smartphones and 47th on tablets.

Meanwhile, Fitbit made an appearance in the smartphone top 50 in 29th position.
