Dr. Carla Kriwet is set to take over as CEO of BSH Hausgeräte GmbH on July 1 2020, where she will be responsible for the global business of the home appliance manufacturer with more than 60,000 employees.
The 48 year old, who has a PhD in business administration, will succeed Uwe Raschke, who, alongside his duties on the Robert Bosch Board of Management, has led BSH since July 2019.
Dr. Kriwet, currently a member of the Executive Committee and Chief Business Leader of Connected Care at Royal Philips, has many years’ experience in business with technologically sophisticated products and services. Since 2017, she has been in charge of the Connected Care cluster, where she is also responsible for digital innovations.
The married mother of three children is also a member of the Supervisory Board of Save the Children Germany and already spent time in Africa as a volunteer aid worker before commencing her studies.
