Dacombes of Wimborne destination store opens

ERT award-winning electrical retailer Dacombes of Wimborne has officially opened its new destination store on Leigh Road in Wimborne.

The showroom was launched with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony by the Mayor of Wimborne Sue Cook. Also attending were the town crier, the Wimborne Militia re-enactment group and a host of VIP guests.

Dacombes of Wimborne is an official stockist for Neff, Samsung, Bosch, Panasonic, Liebherr and Dyson. All of these brands are now laid out in their own key areas of the store.

Dacombes is also able to offer a greater selection of home appliances, white goods, AV, TVs and home electrical items than ever before.

Dacombes managing director Matt Renaut said: “Retail is changing and, with this in mind, we have created our brand new destination shop and showroom with fully-trained staff and advisers on hand to help each and every customer.

“The new showroom is spacious and offers several different areas, which showcase our range of products and offer an improved customer experience and service. Everyone will be made to feel very welcome and you can purchase everything from televisions, radios, dishwashers, parts and even a light bulb.”

The company moved to the new 4,500 square foot premises from its two previous, smaller stores in the town.
