Retra has teamed up with trade association Cedia to offer its members access to a number of smart-home training courses.
This partnership will allow electrical retailers to develop the necessary skills and expertise to enable them to expand their business into the home-technology market.
Electrical retailers can benefit hugely from learning more about the smart-home technology industry and acquiring knowledge, skills and qualifications. Cedia provides a range of training courses that have been developed with industry newcomers in mind.

The courses, which will be held at Cedia’s HQ in St Neots, Cambridgeshire, are available to Retra members at a discounted rate are:
- June 19 Cables, Connectivity and Structured Wiring Workshop;
- July 3 Basic Wired and Wireless Networking;
- July 24 Audio, Video and RF Systems for Installers.
