Cedia and T21 join forces for business training courses

Custom installation trade association Cedia has partnered with training company T21 to launch two new business focused training courses – Consultative Selling Skills Training and Developing a Competitive Commercial Strategy for Your Business.

Available this summer, these one-day courses have been designed to provide attendees with important insights tailored to the needs of the home technology industry, enabling them to grow their businesses effectively.

Said Simon Buddle, director of education at Cedia: “In an increasingly competitive business environment, Cedia education can help companies develop their sales techniques and create the right business strategy for success.

“These new courses can help business owners make sure they have the knowledge to make the right decisions and be in the best possible shape for the future.”

The Consultative Selling Skills Training (May 4, Cedia HQ, St Neots, Cambridgeshire) is suitable for frontline sales people and looks in detail at how to manage customer objections, sell against the competition with similar products and services, and how to sell valuable service solutions as part of larger projects.

Developing a Competitive Commercial Strategy for Your Business (June 8, Cedia HQ, St Neots) will outline the vital skills and knowledge required to develop, implement and deliver a robust commercial strategy that can make or break a business.

Open to Cedia members at a cost of £169 + VAT and non-members for £239 + VAT, both courses are worth six CEU (Continuing Education Unit) points each and can be redeemed with Cedia

“We are delighted to be working with Cedia and are looking forward to delivering these valuable training courses on their behalf,” said Paul Laville, managing director of T21 (pictured).

“The commercial landscape is always changing and so it’s important that home technology businesses have a good understanding of the influences which direct the flow of those changes and their potential impact if they are to grow and be successful.”
