BSH named Top Employer for fifth consecutive year

BSH has been officially recognised as a Top Employer for 2020 by the Top Employers Institute. This is the fifth consecutive year BSH has secured this status and becomes the first company in its industry to hold the title for this length of time.

Top Employers are organisations of the highest calibre that have worked hard to create and implement their people strategies. Through strategic and thoughtful workplace programmes, they have created an environment that empowers and develops employees.

The certification recognises employers that have dedicated themselves to providing the very best working environment for employees through progressive ‘people-first’ HR practices.

Each company awarded Top Employer status goes through a rigorous analysis of its human resources management and employee conditions.

The Best Practice Survey companies take part in encompasses over 100 questions covering a range of topics including; learning and development, career and succession management, and talent strategy and acquisition. The Top Employers Institute then evaluates the implementation of these practices and reviews how they are supported through strategy, ownership, practices, management and technology.

Ting Mensing, CFO of BSH Home Appliances, manufacturer of Bosch, NEFF, Siemens and Gaggenau products, commented: “We are delighted to be one of a select number of UK organisations to be rated as a Top Employer, and to be recognised for the fifth year running is a fantastic achievement. In 2016 we were the first company in our industry in the UK to hold this certificate, and we’re now the first to hold the title for five consecutive years.

“The development of employees is a key focus for us at BSH and to have this work recognised by the Top Employers Institute is testament to the hard work of everyone at BSH.”
