Blomberg takes the high road

Blomberg added an extra leg to its Training Roadshow tour for Scotland after its success in England.

The Beko brand hosted five sessions in total: Inverurie, Kilmarnock and Dumfries, plus two in Larkhall. During the tour, 69 staff were trained, which takes the total number of Euronics agents trained through the roadshow in 2015 to 389.

Beko head of training Kay Ainsworth said: “We work with a number of key retailers in Scotland and it was absolutely essential to extend our initial six-week programme to visit them too. Our Blomberg training sessions are designed to be both fun and informative. We don’t overload retailers with presentations, but instead bring the facts and figures to life through interactive demonstrations. We received excellent feedback from our Scottish retailers, and are always pleased to hear that the training had a positive impact and boosted sales.”

Frank Craig of Frank B Craig in Lanarkshire, whose team attended one of the sessions, said: “A mega thanks from all the guys at Frank B Craig. We all thought the training was expertly done and entertaining and we’re much wiser for the evening. I’m sure this will help us support the Blomberg brand. They know how to run a great night!”
