Blomberg has announced the seven winners of its window display competition launched in September.
The appliance brand encouraged independent retailers to create stunning window displays using Blomberg’s home appliances and merchandising materials.
In addition to retailers winning a cash prize, the competition was also open to their consumers, who had the chance to win Blomberg kitchen appliances.
The overall winner was Tooby’s, based in Ingleton, Lancashire. The other six winners were: Knights of Oakham Limited, Oakham, Rutland; Williams Electrical, Sheffield; Barlows, Malpas, Cheshire; Brooks of Whitehaven, Cumbria; Gotch’s in Selby, Yorkshire and Petersfield Electrical, Petersfield, Hampshire.
Trade marketing manager at Blomberg, Tina Kapoor, commented: “The standard of entries received this year was very impressive. It’s designed to encourage our retailer partners to get creative and have fun and we’d like to thank everyone who got involved. We loved going through the entries and it proved very difficult to pick our winners but congratulations to those selected.”
Patricia Walne, director at Knights of Oakham Limited, one of the seven winners added: “Our display certainly initiated a positive response from our customers and has resulted in a number of enquiries about Blomberg.”
