Big Red grows and gets more social
Big Red Sales has launched into social media to promote itself to retailers, manufacturers and consumers.
The nationwide sales company is now present on Twitter and Facebook with the new campaign being led by newly-appointed field sales manager Ross Willington (pictured).
The company is also offering to help its retail customers to launch themselves on social media.
“We are very happy to help any retailers who do not know how to utilise social media,” Mr Willington said. “Social media has an enormous part to play in the future of retail and the sooner retailers fully embrace it, the better.”
Mr Willington previously worked for a leading bedding company, where he was business development manager. Prior to that he spent 18 months at Otone as national account manager.
Big Red’s second new recruit is Stephen McGhee, who will be responsible for Scotland and Northern Ireland.
He has joined from Roberts Radio, where he was area sales manager for the North. Before that, he worked for Daewoo Electronics Sales as regional sales manager for three years.
