Beko claims new washers are some of the fastest ever

Beko has launched what it claims is one of the world’s fastest ever washing machines.

The brand’s latest premium laundry range can wash up to 12kg, or the equivalent of 60 shirts, in just 28 minutes. Beko said this was more than 75 per cent quicker than the average cycle and would save households up to 10 days a year.

The range also features a new 14-minute cycle option to thoroughly clean up to 2kg of laundry. Auto-dosing technology automatically dispenses the precise amount of detergent for each wash to take the guesswork out of laundry and save consumers time and money. Fill up the detergent just once and the auto-dosing feature adds the detergent for up to 19 washes. It also alerts the user when the detergent needs topping up. This avoids any wasted washes.

Beko’s AirTherapy function helps prevent freshly-washed laundry ending up smelling damp, even if it’s left in the drum all day. There is also an AntiCrease program, which automatically kicks in after a cycle and the laundry has been left in the machine. It gently rotates the laundry for up to eight hours after the wash, freshening it up and reducing wrinkles.

Said Iain Starkey, senior marketing manager at Beko: “Beko is the official partner of the everyday, meaning we’re committed to making everyday household tasks that little bit easier. We’re proud to bring the fastest and most efficient laundry range to the UK market to not only help people save time, but spend time together.”

The WR94PB44DW model with AutoDose retails for £479.99, and the suggested retail price for the WY104PB44TW with AirTherapy is £529.99.
