On 5 July 2019, a small team of seven from specialist AV retailer, Avensys, based in Crawley, West Sussex will be doing a 10,000ft charity skydive for the local St Catherine’s Hospice charity.
This is a local organisation with a big ambition: to help everyone face death informed, supported and pain-free. Providing expert hospice care, they are there for people in West Sussex and East Surrey when life comes full circle.
They also pioneer standards in end of life care through collaboration, research and training, reaching even more people facing death and bereavement.
This is a charity that is very close to Avensys as the company’s Head of Retail, Martin Jukes’s father was recently diagnosed with terminal bowel and liver cancer.
The retailer is hoping to raise as much money as possible, and in return the team from Avensys will be jumping out of a plane at 10,000 feet!
Those taking part are Mr Jukes, Jemma Parsons (Head of Marketing), Andy Mussell (Head of Commercial), Sam Wood (Director), Ross Burtenshaw (Commercial Purchasing & Ops Manager), Kara Morton (Retail BDM) and Paul Power (Commercial Project & AV Support Manager).
