Audio T invests in training from T21

Award-winning hi-fi retailer Audio T has teamed up with training company T21 to introduce high-end sales training for staff at its 14 UK branches ahead of the peak Christmas sales period.

This is the second time that Audio T has worked with T21 – the two companies first collaborated in August 2014.

Said Tony Revelle, operations director and co-owner of Audio T: “Our in-store sales staff are among the best in the industry. We’ve had three winners of ERT’s Salesperson of the Year Award – Martin Hodson in 2010, Joe Reed in 2013 and Gavin Brooks in 2015. But we need to keep driving forward.

“The economic climate has changed post-Brexit and no one knows exactly how that will impact retail sales. The general feeling is that retailers will be adversely affected, but rather than waiting to respond to whatever will or won’t happen, we’ve taken the initiative with T21 to ensure that our guys are on top form and fully geared to make the most of every sales opportunity.”

Added Paul Laville, managing director of T21: “We are delighted to be working with Audio T again. The consultancy-based sales training we launched back in 2014 with Audio T was very progressive at the time, but nothing stands still for long. We’ve made a few important changes to bring it up to date and I’m looking forward to seeing it in action.”

The training begins in Audio T’s Bristol branch on September 19.
